Sushi Hana

Posted: July 19, 2010

Last Tuesday I went to Sushi Hana by my work with 2 of my sisters, Maia and Susan. This restaurant is the best japanese restaurant that I've had by my work as of yet. :)

Night Market

Posted: July 19, 2010

We went to the night market at Metro Square last weekend. We only stayed for about an hour and had lamb skewers and soft shelled crab. It was way too crazily packed, so there was no where to eat, so we just went with little snacks. We left smelling like stinky tofu.

Ikea Meatballs

For those who have not tried Ikea swedish meatballs, it's the best! Coupled with the Ikea Lingoberry Sauce, and Ikea Cream Sauce... Delicious!
I just bought everything and cooked it at home with Brian :)

Yogoberry

Posted: July 5, 2010

Saturday night after dinner a bunch of us went to Yogoberry for dessert. It's a very small place, where you order at the front and pay, then take a seat. I had a medium green tea and vanilla yogurt with mangos, strawberries, kiwis. It was pretty good, but the serving is small. I would probably prefer Yogen Fruz. All in all it was still very tasty!

Oysters, Oysters, Oysters!!

Posted: July 5, 2010

Today Brian and I purchased 30 oysters from Diana's Seafood Market. They were so much cheaper than eating at a restaurant, and tasted great. It was our first time shucking oysters, now we are professionals ;)

Pi-Tom's Thai Cuisine

Posted: July 5, 2010

Last week I used my Teambuy coupon that I purchased a month ago at Pi-Tom ($12 for $25 worth of food). We ordered Red Curry Duck, and Authentic Pad Thai in Egg Crepe. Portions were a good size for lunch, however it is really overpriced for a casual thai restaurant. I would not come here unless I had another coupon.

Ribfest 2010

Posted: July 2, 2010

We went to Ribfest on June 30 at Centennial Park in Etobicoke. There were many to choose from, but we just went with the one's with the most awards. We had two rack of ribs (Crabby's & Kentucky's) and a Onion Blossom between four of us. The ribs from Crabby's was great, they were very soft and moist, as well they are the fan favourite for 8 consecutive years. The ribs from Kentucky's were a little harder however, I liked the sauce better. Lastly, the Onion Blossom was amazing, can't go wrong with fried onions and ranch sauce :)
