Forte Bistro

Posted: April 4, 2011

One of the best meals I've ever had! This restaurant was on the pricy side, however it was well worth it!

Some delicious bean and wine dip - complementary

Mussels & Frites - bacon and mushroom sauce

Mushroom crusted black cod - forbidden black rice risotto, curried mussel nage

Pan roasted boneless quails - baked candelle pasta "nest", foraged mushrooms, asparagus, grated mimolette cheese (OUR FAVOURITE!!!!)

Apple Butter Pork Tenderloin

Posted: April 4, 2011

Today I cooked dinner for my mom and Brian. I made apple butter pork tenderloin, with asparagus, zucchini, and roasted potatoes.

For dessert we had a La Rocha Super Caramel Crunch cake, it was Brian's long over due birthday cake :p

Linda Thai Restaurant

Posted: April 4, 2011

We went to Linda's for dinner about two weeks ago. Pretty much a fancier version of Salad King. However their Panang Beef was amazing, and different. The beef was braised and deep fried! Our favourite dish there! It was all very filling, if we were to go back we would definitely just share a panang beef and an appetizer.
