We purchased a Groupon for $25 for $50 worth of food and drinks at Senses Restaurant. This is located at the Metropolitan Hotel. It was amazing. We started with some bread and a spinach & salmon dip, also some sparkling water. For dinner Brian and I both ordered the crispy duck breast (pan fried king oyster & shiitake mushrooms, sautéed pea leaves, port & madeira demi glace). It was Amazing! Of course this meal costed over $50, but it was well worth it.

The Burger Bar

Posted: August 22, 2010

We used a Groupon for this restaurant and paid $8 for $16 worth of food. Brian and I both had the 6 cheese (Cheddar, Smoked Provolone, Gruyere, Blue, Brie, or Chevre) burger, with sweet potato fries and onion rings. I also added to my burger some avocado salsa and mushrooms. Overall just an average burger that is overpriced and not really worth it without the Groupon. However, the onion rings and sweet potato fries were delicious.

Buster's Sea Cove

Posted: August 17, 2010

Every time I think about or speak of Buster's Sea Cove, I immediately think of when I can free my schedule up to head down to St Lawrence Market. Buster's Sea Cove is a little seafood take out place inside St. Lawrence Market. Every time I go, I always get the swordfish sandwich. (I'm drooling as we speak)... It's about $13 for the sandwich along with fries and coleslaw and it is worth every penny!! Everyone go grab a swordfish sandwich ASAP and thank me later ;)

I didn't have my DLR Camera with me, the portion is bigger than it looks! Brian and I shared this for lunch and we were stuffed!

Blushberry

Posted: August 17, 2010

Last month I purchased two $25 gift cards for Blushberry from Team Buy, for $10. I have always loved frozen yogurt, even more than ice cream, so I was really excited to try this place. It turned out okay, It was pretty much overpriced frozen yogurt. If i did not have these gift cards, I probably would not come here again. I did enjoy it however for the price I paid! They had many different flavours of frozen yogurt such as pomegranate, and mango. For an additional cost you can add toppings to it as well. The cost of my medium mango frozen yogurt with three toppings came up to about $7.00.

In the end... I'm still a Yogen Fruz fan.

Sogo Bar

Posted: August 11, 2010

My absolute favourite place to have wings is at Sogo Bar. They have I think over 100 flavours, but they are all very unique. I like their wings because not only are they crispy, but they are saucy too.

I visited Sogo Bar the other day with my boyfriend and a friend and decided to make a post :)

We started with poutine

"Titanic" wings - Thai

"Ta-Tas" wings - Caesar, Hot Sauce, & Parmesan (MY FAV)

"Cheerleaders" - Honey Garlic and Sweet Mustard

Favourite Bubble Tea?

Posted: Aug 11, 2010

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time, been very busy!

My all time favourite bubble tea is Green Apple Sherbet at Tea168. It's weird how we came along this flavour, I think Brian ordered the wrong thing but after tasting it, it was been our favourite!
